When a Quote Request has been approved by the Property Manager or Landlord you will receive an email alert advising the quote has been approved.
Once you have arranged a time with the tenants to carry out the works, update both the Start and End dates as per the below:
Steps:

Click on job details from the email or open from your OurTradie portal

Open the calendar under 'Start Date' to select the date the job will commence

Open the calendar under 'End Date' to select the date the job will be complete (this can be updated if more time is required)

Press Confirm at the bottom of the page to lock in the chosen dates
The job has now updated from an approved quote request to a work request and will be located under Work Orders > Future > Future, ready to be actioned and invoiced.
What happens is you do not confirm the dates?
If the approved quote request is not confirmed by clicking the “Confirm” button, you will be sent reminder email alerts every two days asking that you update the start and end dates.
You have the option of clicking on the "Confirm Date" button within the email alerts, or you can update the dates directly via the OurTradie portal.
If choose to update via the OurTradie portal, approved quotes are located under Work Orders > Future > Quoted.
From here, you have 2 options on how to confirm the start and end dates for the job.
Option 1:

Click on the green tick to the left to update the start end date

Then click the “Confirm” button within the calendar view.
Option 2:
-
Click on the Job Title to open the job to the full details view.

Select the start and end dates and click the “Confirm” button.
The job has now updated from an approved quote request to a work request and will be located under Work Orders > Future > Future, ready to be actioned and invoiced.
