To successfully connect to a Remote Inspection you will need to allow the use of your device's camera and microphone in your selected browser.

By default, browser will prompt/ask you if you want to allow access. Simply tap the Allow option. The option may differ slightly depending on your selected browser.

This is an example of the prompt you may see.

Failed Connection

If you receive a popup to advise that the connection has failed to access your camera and mic then you will need to check your browser's setting to allow or ask for permission.

Once your settings have been updated, simply click the link again or refresh the page and your browser will prompt/ask for your permission again.

Browser Help

iOS device (Apple iPhone/Tablet)

Safari

1. Open the Settings app

2. Tap on Safari > Camera

3. Scroll down to Camera & Microphone

4. Confirm that "Ask" or "Allow" is checked 

5. Refresh to Remote Inspection page and allow access when prompted

Chrome

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app

2. At the bottom right, tap More (three dots) > Settings 

3. Tap Content Settings

4. Tap the Microphone and Camera permissions to update

Firefox

1. Open the Settings app

2. Tap on Firefox > Camera

3. Scroll down to Camera & Microphone

4. Confirm that "Ask" or "Allow" is checked 

5. Refresh to Remote Inspection page and allow access when prompted

Android Device (Samsung, HTC, Google, Oppo, etc)

Chrome 

1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app .

2. To the right of the address bar, tap More (triple dots)  > Settings.

3. Tap Site Settings.

4. Tap Microphone or Camera.

5. Tap to turn the microphone or camera on or off. 

6. Look for tenant.ourtradie.com.au under the Blocked list. If you see it BLOCKED, tap tenant.ourtradie.com.au > Access your camera > Allow. 

7. Unblock BOTH camera and mic!

8. Refresh the Remote Inspection page and allow access when prompted

Firefox

1. Open your device 'Settings'

2. Tap on 'Apps' and scroll to find and tap on 'Firefox'

3. Scroll to find and tap on 'Permissions'

4. Tap the toggle button to turn on permissions for Camera and Microphone

5. Refresh the Remote Inspection page and allow access when prompted
