To complete the digital application form you will be provided with a link to apply for the property of interest in either an email, or direct from the agency.

Access the application from the Apply Now button in the email or URL/QR code provided by the agency.

Agree to the application and new tenancy terms and conditions outlined on the first page by pressing 'I Agree'

Complete the data entry required for each section of the application form. Each heading displayed in the menu will be explained in detail below.
Lease Details

Choose the preferred date to start the lease agreement
-
Use the drop down menu to select the preferred term of the lease agreement. The term means the length of time (in months).

Confirm/Enter the rent amount being offered per week for the property.
The bond amount will automatically calculate based on the rent amount entered. -
Will you be running a business from the property? Identify Yes or No by clicking on the Yes/No sliding button.
If the answer is Yes, please provide a brief description of the business. -
To apply for a second preference property type into the search bar. You can search using a known street address, suburb, or post code.

Add all lease holders and occupants who will be living at the property onto the application form. All lease holders over the age of 18 will be automatically sent an email to complete their own application form. It is important you add all residents at this stage as you cannot add or remove after moving to the next page.

Use the + Add Occupants button to enter additional residents onto the application

Use the tick box for Lease Holder to identify if the occupant is to be recognised as such, or untick to be an approved occupant only.

Tick to confirm you have added all residents onto the application form

Press Next >> to move to the next page.
Name and Contact Information

You must fill in all details that are marked with a red asterisk (*). This information is mandatory to move onto the next page of the application.

Your email address should be unique and not shared across applicants. It will be used as your username for your new Tenant/Renter profile.

You must include at least one contact number
-
Provide a full name and at least one contact number for your emergency contact.

The emergency contact cannot live at the same property you are applying for
-
Type the property address into the Address search bar and select from available options.

Press next to move to the next page. Note: pressing next will also save the information.

Type in a password for your new tenant/renter profile. The account gives access to the application and its status at all times and will be used for your tenancy if your application is successful.
Identification

A total of 100 points of I.D is required
-
This must include at least one form of photo I.D (drivers license OR passport)

The number of points for each type of identification document is provided next to the upload function
How to upload a document from a desktop computer:

Press on the upwards arrow next to the relevant form of I.D
-
Select the file from your saved documents.
OR -
Drag an drop the file into the upload section.

Fill in any additional information required for the ID, such as passport or license number.
How to upload a document/image from a mobile device:

Press on the plus (+) icon

Select from:
* Photo library - choose an image already in your library
* Take photo or video - use the camera to take a picture/video
* Choose File - select from a saved document in your device files

The number of points uploaded will show at the top of the page/mobile screen. When 100 points or more have accumulated, press Next
Renting Details

Answer Yes or No to the listed questions by clicking on the sliding button

Answering Yes may require you to fill out additional information
-
If you have a pet/s, please ensure you read the agencies pet terms and conditions displayed at the bottom of the questions.

To add a 2nd pet, press the plus (+) icon as shown below
Residential Information

You must provide information on your current residential address
-
All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory to complete
-
The information provided here will be used to obtain a rental reference from your current and previous rental agency (where applicable).

Type the address into the current address field and select from the available options. If the address does not appear, provide as much details as possible and move onto the next section.

Choose a status from 'Renting, Boarding or Home Owner'. The information you need to provide next will depend on what status is selected.
If you are current living in a family home, select the option Boarding and tick 'Living with family' -
When all mandatory fields are completed, fill in the information for your previous address and press Next to move to the next page.
Income

The information provided here is to support your affordability for the rental property.

Choose from multiple income types:
- Employment (up to 3 different jobs can be entered)
- Self employment
- Centrelink/Pension
- Superannuation
- Savings/self funded, &
- Other -
You can choose more than one income option

The option you choose will determine the information that is required to be entered

To remove an option, press the blue X.

If you have a guarantor, answer YES by clicking on the sliding button

The guarantor is required to provide income/employment information including payslips, bank statement and a letter of agreement.
Personal References
-
Complete the personal reference information for all fields marked with a red asterisk (*)
-
You must provide at least one contact number OR email address.
-
The personal references cannot be for someone who is moving into the same property as you.
-
Depending on the agency you are applying to rent through, the number of mandatory personal references may change.
Privacy Act Acknowledgment
-
Read over the privacy act information
-
Acknowledgement of this gives your permission for the agency your are applying to rent through to obtain and pass on your information to be assessed in a Tenancy Database.

Press the Sign Now button to complete a digital signature
-
Use your mouse, mousepad or touchscreen to sign in the gray box.
-
Press save
-
Use the next button to move onto the last page
Review & Submit
- Complete the National Tenancy Database Check by clicking on the green button.
You will be required to log in to the Tenant Portal and make a payment of $16.50. -
Review the key application proposal details and amend if required
-
If you wish to set another property as a second preference, type in the address and select from the available options. Only properties listed for rent with the same agency will be listed
-
Confirm from one of the three options that you accept the property in its current condition:
1. Attended open home
2. A third party has inspected on your behalf
3. Accepting site unseen (have not visually inspected the property) -
Read and agree to the terms and conditions of the tenancy application. You must tick the I Agree box shown at the bottom of the page

Press Submit
You have now successfully submitted your tenancy application to the agency.
Upon submission, your rental and employment reference requests have been sent to the relevant email addresses.
You can track the status of your application by logging into your tenant account at https://tenant.our.property. Use the email address and password you created at the start of the application form to log in.
